Welcome to the Omohundro Institute of Early American History and Culture's Virtual Exhibit for the Organization of American Historians. We’re sorry to miss OAH but wanted to share this virtual exhibit with you to highlight the accomplishments of our authors. We are delighted to showcase our most recent publications, available here as a free full preview until June 30, 2020.

We are particularly excited to announce that OI author Sophie White received an honorable mention for the 2020 Merle Curti Social History Award for Voices of the Enslaved: Love, Labor, and Longing in French Louisiana from OAH. This is only the third time in the prize’s history that an honorable mention has been awarded.
